“Solo federal agent, an old executioner,” is a charade that places a “Star Wars” hero and Melvin Purvis side by side.ĥA. The very first entry of this puzzle is a bit dark (and was more than a bit hard for me to decipher - I was about halfway through when I solved it). I also appreciated the macabre and creepy entries that scuttled through the puzzle.ġA. CRYPTIC CROSSWORD - At first glance, this is one of the more imposing cryptic puzzles that I’ve seen in a while! Many of its clues contain indicators that are easy to misinterpret, and the equations for solving them are inventive and convoluted.
